Longview Yoga Studio Located just off Loop 281 and Judson Road, Longview Yoga Studio is dedicated to the practice and teaching of yoga 6 days a week. Our certified teachers are committed professionals with a wide range of backgrounds who share a common vision of making the ancient science of yoga accessible to all people and in a wide range of styles: Hatha, Yin, Restorative, Vinyasa and more.
Longview Yoga Studio strives to offer an authentic and meaningful yoga experience to all levels of practitioners. Longview Yoga believes in and teaches the 8 limbs of yoga. This 8 limbed approach helps provide the means for creating a happy and healthy body, mind and spirit. The eight limbs are for everyone. Sri K. Pattabhi Jois simply says it best:
“Yoga, as a way of life and a philosophy, can be practiced by anyone with inclination to undertake it, for yoga belongs to humanity as a whole. It is not the property of any one group or any one individual, but can be followed by any and all, in any corner of the globe, regardless of class, creed or religion.â€
We foster a non-competitive approach and encourage awareness of pranayama (breathing exercises) and meditation, in addition to the asanas (postures) to bring your practice of yoga to a deeper level in a holistic education center dedicated to nourishing mind, body and spirit. Longview Yoga Studio serves and educates our community by providing the tools for healing, growth, and self-exploration.
Inspiring people of all ages and backgrounds to live more mindful, healthier lives in today’s world inspires us as well as we honor and celebrate the ancient transformative power of yoga and the healing arts.
Our 3,800 square foot is clean, relaxing and filled with a passionate community of yogis working together to make our world a better place, both locally and globally. It includes a large class studio with oak flooring and soft lighting, full yoga shop, kitchen, bathroom with shower, private instruction room and more.
